If we must picture anger as a person, let her look like the poets describe her: 'Bellona fights there with her bloody whip, and Discord delights in her torn clothes.' Or better yet, let's invent an even more horrible appearance for this horrible emotion.
Or, if we are to see her, let her be such as our poets have described her— "There with her blood-stained scourge Bellona fights. And Discord in her riven robe delights," or, if possible, let some even more dreadful aspect be invented for this dreadful passion.
